Hundreds stranded over closure of Buipe and Yapei bridges Hundreds of passengers have been left stranded in the Northern Region following the closure of the Buipe and Yapei bridges last week. The closure has created a situation where transport owners are charging exorbitant fares in order to use alternative routes to Kumasi and Accra. Ellembelle DCE supports two PWD’s with wheelchairs, laptops

Two persons with disability in the Ellemeblle District Assembly of the Western Region have received emergency support from the Disability Fund. The District Social Development Officer, Mr. Wisdom Bakuyeya pointed out that, there was the urgent need for the support to enable the benefactors go about their duties with relief adding that such interventions are available but are exercised only when there is the need for it.
